Title III Coaching for Student Success Mini-Grant
Henderson Community College’s Title III: Coaching for Student Success program is excited to announce the opportunity for HCC faculty (full-time and part-time) and staff to receive mini-grants for Summer and Fall 2006 semesters. These mini-grants will allow HCC personnel freedom and flexibility to express and implement their creative ideas and innovations for the advancement of our campus community.
Proposals will be considered based on their addressing of any of the following activity components:
- Teaching/Instructional Practices
- Curriculum Design
- Student Support Services/ Intrusive Advising
- Technology
- Learning Centered Instruction.
Mini-grants are not limited to those who serve students inside the classroom; any member of the HCC personnel with an innovative approach to one or more of the above components is eligible to apply. Special working arrangements will be made for mid-management and classified staff. Application deadline is Friday, February 24th. All applications will be considered by a mini-grant assessment team made up of staff and faculty from all four divisions.
Applicants are encouraged to contact Advising Coach Rebecca Emerson at 19828, or Activity Director Doris Cherry at 19771 with questions, to discuss ideas, or for help with the process.
