Nursing Tutors
HCC was one of the first ADN programs in the state to initiate a nursing tutor program in 2003. Dr. Wilder envisioned another avenue for the students to use to aid their success in the nursing program. What started out as one tutor has now grown to employ six RNs to assist students with nursing skills. The nursing tutor role has now expanded into the clinical site with three RNs assisting clinical instructors.
