Part-Time Faculty Vacancies
Henderson Community College is seeking applicants for part-time faculty positions in the following areas: art, Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Developmental Math and Writing, Early Childhood Education, English, Foreign Language, History, Industrial Maintenance, Information Technology, Math, Music, Nursing (LPN and RN), Philosophy, Psychology, Technical Math, Welding, and Library Services. Teaching assignments will be in the day and evening at on-campus and off-campus locations in Henderson and Union Counties and on-line.
Positions in Art, Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Early Childhood Education, English, Foreign Llanguage, History, Introduction to Computers, Math, Music, Philosophy, and Psychology require a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree that includes at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
Positions in Developmental Math and Writing and Technical Math require a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline, a related discipline, or education.
Positions in IT, Industrial Maintenance, and Welding require an associate or Bachelor’s degree and appropriate professional certification and/or industrial experience.
Positions in Nursing require a BSN or MSN and appropriate licensure.
The librarian position requires an MLS from an ALA accredited institution.
Previous teaching experience is preferred for all positions.
