Wireless Access

Wireless access is available in every building on campus.

Steps to Connect

1. Make sure that all web browsers are closed prior to trying to connect.
2. Right click on the wireless icon in the toolbar at the bottom of your screen.
3. Choose VIEW AVAILABLE WIRELESS NETWORKS.
4. For each building on campus, you will see a list of the wireless connections. The example below is for the AD Bldg.
   
   
   
   
5. You will need to select an access point that begins with HCC. If you connect to one that begins with HEN, you will not be able to access the Internet.
6. Choose the wireless connection you would like to use (ex: HCC-AD208-AP) and then click on Connect.
7. When you click Connect, you will see the wireless access point (ex: HCC-AD208-AP) obtaining signal and permissions to the network.
8. Now open a web browser. You will be presented with a login screen.
9. Use your KCTCS user name and password to gain access.

If you are a visitor, please go to the Library to get a Patron Account to use your laptop on campus.
