Multi-player games way to go

Grab your friends and check out the five games that are, in my mind, fun multi-player games.

5. Time Splitters - There are two games in this series and are available on most consoles. They are both first person shooters that stick to the basic shoot until you achieve the highest kill count. I found that they’re easy to control, making the learning curve level and easy.

4. Mario Party 1-7 - Mario is a Nintendo exclusive, so this game is only available on the Nintendo 64 and Nintendo Game Cube.

In all of the games, you start out by picking your character. I like Luigi. Four people go along a board-game path and on special squares start mini-games.

A great mini-game is one in which three players run on a log as the other one changes the speed. Last one standing wins.

3. Star Wars: Battlefront - Two players can play this on the same system but the online version allows for a six member team with two teams.

The armies you pick from are Republic or CIS, and Rebels or Empire. The squad and you will try to either take over all bases or kill all of the other team.

2. Halo 1+2 - This game is available on X Box and PC. This is another first person shooter just more loved.

Four players can fight on Halo 1, or two can play through co-op levels. The big thing with Halo 2 is the X Box Live feature which allows for online play.

1. Crash Team Racing - This is the last Crash Bandicoot game created by Naughty Dog.

It is only available on PlayStation. Like other cart racing games, the three types of game-play are battle, race, and championship.

Up to four players can play. The game can be found at most used game dealers for five to ten dollars.
